Chapter and Blog # 10 (The Healing Value of Faith, Hope and Love) of GO NATURAL by Dr Mark Virkler
Empowering for the Soul.
God lists three things as abiding realities:
“But now abide faith, hope, love, these three; but the greatest of these is love” (1 Corinthians 13:13 NASB) God declares that the health of one’s body is connected to the health of the soul, thereby providing the basis for psychosomatic (mind/body) relationships:
“Beloved , I pray that in all respects you may prosper and be in good health, just as your soul prospers” (3 John 2 NASB).
“A merry heart maketh a cheerfull countenance: but by sorrow of the heart the spirit is broken.” (Proverbs 15:13)
“He that hath a merry heart hath a continual feast.” (Proverbs 15:15)
So the Bible recommends no anxiety but peace, instead. We are to maintain a positive emotional state by pondering positive things, things that are honourable and right, good and lovely…according to Philippians 4:6-8 NASB.

Step three is Psalm 61 verses 5 through 7 is writing or journaling what God is saying.
Final step four is Psalm 61 verse 8 where you praise God for what HE spoke to your heart.
