Driving a big rig was always a pleasure for me. I loved the preparation before the haul, the gathering of equipment, and the journey to the destination. On a good day, when everything went right, life was great. Of course, not every haul was perfect—but most were. The trailers I pulled carried products born from someone’s innovation, thought, and hard work. Their efforts were recognized, valued, and purchased—whether as a finished product or a crucial part of something bigger—bringing real value to the person on the other end of my route.
